Courtney’s professional journey embodies the evolving spirit of service in our dynamic world. Her career ignited as an Investigator for Child Protective Services in North Georgia, a role that instilled a deep commitment to public service. This fervor led her to become a New York City Teaching Fellow, where she earned a Master’s in Special Education from Pace University while teaching high school students facing emotional and physical trauma.

Courtney’s dedication did not stop in the classroom, she volunteered with education empowerment nonprofits in Brooklyn, NYC, and Uganda, championing education access. Upon meeting her husband, an active-duty Army service member, a new chapter began, shifting her focus from education to nonprofit development.

Courtney’s remarkable journey is underscored by her credentials, including a Nonprofit Management graduate certificate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels School of Government, attaining and maintaining the Certified Fundraising Executive certification, and most recently a graduate of Syracuse University's VWISE program through the Institute for Veteran and Military Families. Additionally, she’s an advisory board member for Project Recover, a member of CHIEF, and a Soldier and Family Readiness Group Senior Advisor.

For over 15 years, Courtney has been at the forefront of the social impact space, advancing its most crucial missions: raising awareness, fostering empowerment, and driving change through authentic leadership. As the prior Chief Development Officer for Travis Manion Foundation and Founder of Catalyst Impact Solutions, she is a change agent. Courtney is a national speaker around Veterans issues, military family life and living for your authentic self. In the midst of her inspiring career, Courtney finds joy in living life as mom to three spirited boys, watching SEC football, and using humor to bring people together to break barriers.
